This notice is published by Karaca Alüminyum as data controller under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). The Turkish version is the binding one.

What we process
- Contact data: the name, company, phone number, email address and message you share when you call, email or message us.
- Technical data: logs created on our hosting provider’s servers when you visit the site, kept for security and operation (IP address, browser and device, page visited, date and time).
- Chat assistant messages: what you type into “Karaca Assistant” is sent to an AI service to generate the answer. The conversation is kept only in that browser tab and is deleted when you close it; it is not stored on our servers. Please don’t enter personal or confidential information.
The site uses no advertising or visitor-tracking cookies and no analytics tools.

What is stored in your browser
The site uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) to remember that you closed the language suggestion, to apply the display preference, and to keep the chat history while the tab is open. This stays on your device and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
For the language suggestion, your country is taken from the country code our hosting provider determines for the connection; it is not stored.
Who receives data
- Hosting and AI service: the site runs on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure, and the chat assistant runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, so technical data and assistant messages may be processed on servers outside Türkiye. Such transfers follow the conditions of KVKK Article 9.
- Map: the map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps. When it loads, Google may process data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities: competent public bodies where the law requires it.
We never sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as the business relationship and the applicable legislation require after your request is closed, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Server logs are limited to the hosting provider’s security retention periods.
Your rights (KVKK Article 11)
You can ask Karaca Alüminyum to:
- tell you whether your personal data is processed and, if so, give you information about it;
- tell you the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly;
- name the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to;
- correct incomplete or inaccurate data, delete or destroy it where the conditions are met, and notify the third parties it was transferred to;
- object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis;
- compensate damage caused by unlawful processing.
